Gold Targets $4,217

Dupoin Futures Indonesia forecasts that global Gold prices (XAU/USD) could move higher on Thursday, October 15, 2026, with potential upside targets at $4,195 and $4,217, provided the key support level remains intact.

According to Dupoin's technical analysis, the bullish outlook remains valid as long as Gold holds above the $4,110 support zone.

“Upside potential remains open as long as $4,110 holds as support, with targets at $4,195 and $4,217,” Dupoin stated in its analysis.

However, Dupoin also outlined an alternative scenario if Gold prices break below the $4,110 support level. In that case, XAU/USD could extend its decline toward $4,073 and $4,051.

“The alternative strategy below $4,110 points to $4,073 and $4,051,” Dupoin noted.

Gold Technical Analysis

Technical indicators suggest that Gold's near-term outlook remains constructive, with buying momentum showing signs of strength.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is trading above the neutral 50 level, indicating that bullish momentum remains relatively dominant.

Meanwhile, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator is positioned above its signal line and remains in positive territory. This configuration reinforces the possibility of further upside in the near term.

From a moving-average perspective, XAU/USD is trading above the 20-period Moving Average (MA) at $4,104 and the 50-period MA at $4,126. Holding above these indicators suggests that the short-term price structure remains supportive of a potential recovery.

Gold is also reported to be trading above the upper Bollinger Band, reflecting strong buying pressure. However, traders should remain alert to the possibility of a short-term pullback after a relatively strong advance, as prices may be vulnerable to profit-taking.

XAU/USD Price Outlook: Key Levels to Watch

The $4,110 level remains the key technical threshold for determining Gold's next move.

As long as prices hold above this support, the upside targets at $4,195 and $4,217 remain in focus. A sustained move higher could reinforce the bullish outlook and extend the recovery.

Conversely, a decisive break below $4,110 would weaken the bullish structure and expose Gold to further losses toward $4,073 and $4,051.

Gold traders will therefore closely monitor price action around $4,110 to assess whether bullish momentum can continue or selling pressure is likely to return.

For context, XAU/USD closed lower at $4,096 on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, ahead of Thursday's projected recovery.
